Drink: Cocktail
The weather is so kooky these days it's hard to tell if the temperatures will drop or soar. So if you're in the mood for a hot cider but just can't stand the heat, drink one cold. Be sure to add vodka (then it won't matter if you're hot or cold).
The folks at Imperia Vodka created this fruity fall libation. Use apple juice, as suggested, or punch up the flavor with cider.
Hands on time: 1 minutes Total time: 1 minutes Serves: 1
Ingredients:
-
Ice
1 ounce vodka
2 ounces apple juice (or cider)
Cinnamon stick
Apple slice for garnish, if desired
Instructions:
Place the ice in a tall rocks glass and pour in the vodka and apple juice. Stir with the cinnamon stick and garnish with the apple slice if desired (keep the apple slice from oxidizing by sprinkling it with a bit of lemon juice).
