Cuisine: Cocktail Drink

Drink: Cocktail Hour

Looking for a grown-up treat for your trick? Halloween doesn't have to be just for kids, after all. After the little ones have settled in for the annual candy swap, brew up a batch of these bewitching beverages. Samantha and Darrin never had it so good. -- Meridith Ford

Hands on time: 2 minutes  Total time: 2 minutes  Serves: 1

Ingredients:

    2 ounces vodka

    1 1/2 ounces orange soda

    1/2 ounce Cointreau liqueur

    1/2 ounce sour mix

    Drizzle of black licorice liqueur

    Ice

Instructions:

Combine the vodka, orange soda, Cointreau, sour mix and ice in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a well-chilled martini glass. Drizzle the black licorice liqueur through the center of the drink until it settles in the bottom of the glass, creating a second (spooky) layer.
