Meridith Ford: What would a bloody brawl be without candy corn? This recipe has been bopped around for years, but was originally inspired by the folks at Pillsbury.
Hands on time: Total time: Serves: 16
Ingredients:
-
1 log sugar cookie dough, slightly softened
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup candy corn pieces
1/2 cup dried cherries
1/2 cup white raisins
1/2 cup canned frosting
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 10-inch pizza or cake pan with aluminum foil.
Press the cookie dough into the pan evenly to create a crust. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden. Remove from heat and set aside. When crust is cool, use the aluminum foil to lift it from the pan. Place on a serving tray.
Spread the crust with peanut butter. Sprinkle candy corn, cherries and raisins over the peanut butter. Place frosting in the microwave and cook on high for 20 seconds, until the frosting begins to melt.
Drizzle the melted icing over the pizza. Kill each other over who gets the first slice.
