Q: My daughters and I have been going to the Swan House in Buckhead for years. We always enjoyed the fruit salad and chicken salad and cheese straws every time we went. Do you think you could get one or all those recipes?
- Lee Griswell, Cornelia

A: Many of the delightful ladies' lunch items served at the Swan Coach House have been published in a cookbook. "The Swan's Palette" (Forward Arts Foundation of Atlanta, $21.95) was compiled by some of the women who raised the funds that helped transform the carriage house of the landmark estate in Buckhead into a tearoom more than 30 years ago. The recipes you requested are among a number of Atlanta classics in the book.
