Greek-Style Noodles With Meat Sauce

Greek seasoning and cinnamon make this meat sauce, sent in by Athena Nawar of Atlanta, just a little different and definitely memorable. They add enough flavor to make it seem like the sauce has been simmering much longer than it has. Farfalle holds the sauce well and makes this dish extra fun for children.

Ingredients:

    8 ounces farfalle pasta
    1/2 pound extra lean ground beef
    1/2 teaspoon Greek seasoning
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce

Instructions:

Prepare pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a well-oiled skillet, brown ground beef. Add Greek seasoning, cinnamon and tomato sauce. Stir and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Serve over pasta.
