Assignment: UGA Dinner Party

The story: Senior Kali Justus abandons her self-described "control-freak ways" to host her first dinner party in the form of a pajama party potluck at her apartment. She asked each person or couple to bring a dish of his or her choice to this college kid-style affair (no cloth napkins, place cards or fine china required).
Destiny Justus, Kali's sister, contributes this recipe, part crostini, part bruschetta, part French bread pizza. Because bread loaf sizes can vary so much, these instructions are for a foot-long loaf. You don’t need precise measurements, you can just wing it.

Hands on time: 10 minutes  Total time: 25 minutes  Serves: 8

Ingredients:

1 (12-inch) loaf Italian bread or baguette, split horizontally
    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    3-4 medium tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup Italian dressing, or to taste

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place bread cut side up on a baking sheet. Top with tomatoes, drizzle with Italian dressing and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese melts.
