With ramen noodles a mainstay in most cupboards, this recipe caught my attention. Courtney Lyons of Smyrna writes: "My mother used to make pasta primavera with a similar recipe. One time I was out of pasta, so I substituted the ramen noodles and added the chicken flavor mix to the sauce. I liked it better that way."

3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

In a pan, combine vegetables and 1/4 cup water. Bring to a simmer, cover and cook for 4 minutes. Stir in cornstarch, half-and-half and noodle seasoning packet. Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens, stirring frequently.
