Rich's Cheese Straws
(First star is lowest, fourth star is highest)
Dorothy Haynes of Tucker, former director of the catering department of Rich's, shares this recipe for the cheese straws served in the store's Magnolia Room restaurant. While working at Rich's, she befriended John Van Dyke who was the executive chef for more than 20 years. He shared this recipe with her.

2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste)
Dash of salt
