Q: The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead had a fruit bar with a dipping sauce that was wonderful. It was like a fondue but not chocolate. It tasted like Eagle Brand milk or vanilla, but I know the recipe must be a bit more complicated.

A: The Ritz calls this White Chocolate Fondue, and it serves up beautifully on a buffet table surrounded by pineapple cubes, strawberries, raspberries, bananas, apples and even cubed poundcake. The recipe is very simple. "This is an easy solution for entertaining at a reception or when you are inviting people in for an informal evening. It gives guests the option to have fresh fruit for dessert, with a little or a lot of chocolate, " said Sandra Ryder, director of public relations for the Ritz-Carlton.
