What Can I Bring?
Perfect for: All kinds of get-togethers, from TV parties, whether it's the last episode of "Friends" or the big game; gatherings with kids; poker night.
Make and take: You can make this three days in advance and store in an airtight container. It will travel well in large plastic bags or tins.
Serving suggestions: With other munchies, like chips and dip.
Made famous by: Michael Anderson of Snellville, who says it's a big hit with adults and children.
Hands on time: 10 minutes Total time: 2 minutes Serves: 20
Ingredients:
2 cups Rice Chex
2 cups Wheat Chex
2 cups Corn Chex
2 cups bow tie pretzels
2 cups peanuts
8 ounces white chocolate, broken into pieces
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix Rice, Wheat and Corn Chex, pretzels and nuts. Set aside. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate, stirring every 30 seconds (it keeps its shape until stirred). Pour over dry mixture and stir to coat well. Line a countertop with wax paper and pour mixture out. Spread evenly and thinly so it will set and dry quickly. Separate into pieces and serve, or store in airtight container.
